Finally after many days with a lack of water, it rained from Friday to Tuesday morning, with approximately two inches of rain falling on the vineyards. Since the rain was not too strong, the soil has absorbed most of the water. This rain will be a useful reserve for the next steps of the vine’s development. The temperature has also dropped, even though it is still above average, thanks to the snow on the Mount Amiata. This temperature drop slows down the vine development that had already started in the vineyards.
